The Dipstick Dab Pen: A Portable Dabbing Experience Like No Other!
I was recently able to get my hands on the latest version of the DipStick dab pen and so far I’ve had a great experience with it. Although I don’t mind using a Nectar Collector when dabbing, there are a few steps involved that I always wished I could avoid.
From what I’ve experienced thus far in the dabbing industry, this is truly the easiest and most efficient way to dab, granted you have a fully charged battery. The DipStick is basically an automatic version of the Nectar Collector. It doesn’t require the use a butane torch, meaning there’s less hassle, less time needed for setup, and safer to use around any pyromaniacs that may be present in your circle of acquaintances.
What Comes With the DipStick Dab Pen Kit?
When I first opened the DipStick dab pen kit, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous accessories included with it. The kit comes with a lanyard to carry it around in, two glass jars for your concentrates, a battery charger, two ICR10440 3.7 volt batteries, two chrome coils, a magnetic coil cover, two cleaning swabs, a screwdriver bit and a manual. The kit pretty much has everything you need to dab while you’re out and about, as well as all the features necessary to maintain it in working order while you’re in the comfort of your home.
How To Turn On the DipStick Dab Pen
To turn the device on, 5 clicks on the button is all it takes for you to start dabbing away into infinite bliss. Once on, holding the button down ensures that the heating coil is ignited, allowing you to take short, quick draws, or longer draws for up to 10 seconds if so desired. After you’re done, turn the DipStick dab pen off by pushing the button down 5 more times. Placing the magnetic coil cover on after use, will assist in preserving your tip, since nobody likes broken tips or unnecessary messes.
What Turns Me On About the DipStick
Messes aside, the DipStick has become one of my favorite “on the go” dab pens, especially since I love dabbing in the cut before and after the movies. If you’re really into concentrates like I am, you’re going to find it to be a lot faster and easier to conceal than your typical dab rig or Nectar Collector.
The flavor given off from this dab pen is REALLY smooth, but that also depends on what kind of concentrate your using, and how many consecutive dabs you do. I decided to try some So Kal Royals Blueberry Haze from a local dispensary. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that once your tip is fully heated, it penetrates through any consistency of concentrate with ease, however I would highly recommend steering clear of using any poop soup or first time extraction experiments with this piece, as results most definitely will vary.
You’re not going get that nasty aftertaste with the DipStick that happens with most wax vape pens that have too much concentrate residue built up in them either, since this vaporizer is designed much differently. It actually has a reclaim chamber, which makes it much easier to collect built up concentrate for cleaning, or re-using if that’s your prerogative(no judgement here!). As stated before, I really like the magnetic cap which you can place over your tip, before/after use, that will also protect you from having the tip poke the inside of your leg while in your pocket. Ouch!
The DipStick’s high quality design feels like it will last forever with the right care, but just in case it doesn’t, it comes up with a 3 year warranty. Although I like lifetime warranties, 3 years is better than nothing and much longer than most relationships I’ve been in.
I highly recommend this piece for anyone who loves weed concentrates or needs a more suitable option for dabbing on the go, when using a Nectar Collector, won’t cut it.
